Mariska says: “On the FCH board I would like to help create a better synergy between FCH's activities and the wishes of traders and growers, so that we can boost support for sector promotion. Particularly by sharing proposed campaigns well in advance, thus making it easier for traders and growers to take advantage of them. In the end it is important to be able to translate collective campaigns into Shopper Activations in a structured way, in partnership with traders and growers. I also see many opportunities in terms of digital media combined with strong campaigns to be able to capture consumers’ attention. Online marketing offers many possibilities for more targeted communication and to expand the reach so that more people start buying flowers and plants. We want to show that we are doing good work in the sector and how beautiful our products are, and thereby increase the enthusiasm for plants and flowers. To do that, we as a sector need to work together. And I’m keen to contribute to that!”
