Horticulture Trends 2024
Learn all about the Horticulture Trends for 2024. This year, we’re once again pleased to share the latest trends in flowers, house plants and outdoor plants. For 2024, we have developed four style trends for the horticultural sector. They are all based on the current context, but have different starting points. The Horticulture Sector Trends 2024 were developed in partnership with the sector organisation Tuinbranche Nederland, iBulb, INretail and Bureau Nijman + Van Haaster.
Firmly rooted in the current context
The current context can be summarised in a single word: crisis. From social unrest to the climate crisis, and from inflation to energy poverty. All these crises are interrelated and can overwhelm us with feelings of gloominess, anxiety or anger. But we can also do something about this. And how each of us responds to the dangers of these crises is personal. Fight, hide, freeze or pioneer? The following four trends are based on these very diverse human responses.

Trend promotion
To encourage the media to bring flowers, house plants and outdoor plants to the attention of consumers we have created appealing press materials that include inspiring images and texts. These press materials are available in four languages: English, Dutch, French and German. This means they can be used by editorial staff in various countries. Besides the media, these press materials can also be used by our horticultural stakeholders – to inspire purchases, product innovation and communication.
