Flower Week for bees 2021 in France

When we think of summer, we think of bees. We know their importance for pollinating flowers and plants, they're essential for pollinating our crops of fruits and vegetables, and for honey! The right ‘bee-friendly plants on our balcony or patio and in the garden are an important source of food for bees. 

Flower Week for bees

Struggling bees is a topic of great interest in many European countries, with more people paying extra attention to bee-friendly plants. In France, Val’hor and the French Apidology Observatory are calling for a week of action to be devoted this cause: Flower Week for Bees. During this special week - from 10 to 20 June - many points of sale, garden centers, and florists link up with this theme and offer a special assortment of honey plants. Val'hor provides communication material and ensures that the press pays special attention to this subject, like they do every year.  Simultaneously,  articles on favorable plants for bees will attract the attention of the public on our French consumer site Maplantemonbonheur.fr, and its social media channels.
